Role Overview
As a Strategic HR Partner, you will be tasked with crafting, interpreting, and implementing comprehensive human resource strategies, policies, guidelines, and programs for your designated business unit. You will leverage your expertise to support HR specialty initiatives, including employee rewards, compensation, benefits, performance management, and employee relations. The HR Partner will maintain a holistic view of the people strategy while anticipating and addressing tactical organizational needs to foster an outstanding employee experience.
A Day in the Life...
- Act as a trusted advisor and collaborator to our business and functional teams.
- Align our human resource strategy with business objectives, delivering tailored solutions; collaborate with leaders to formulate plans that achieve strategic initiatives and drive results. This involves developing a people strategy centered on employee engagement, organizational efficiency, workforce planning, talent management, and overall business performance.
- Provide ongoing performance management support, including coaching, counseling, and handling disciplinary matters; manage and resolve employee relations challenges; conduct thorough and objective investigations.
- Serve as the primary contact for teams within the assigned organization on all People & Culture-related issues.
- Identify leadership capability gaps across departments and devise actionable plans to address them.
- Evaluate people & culture programs, perform performance analyses, prepare reports and proposals based on findings, and present these to senior management for review.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry trends, best practices, and labor laws.
- Enhance employee retention by promoting effective people management practices that lead to higher employee satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Compensation Manager to provide support in salary planning, approving salary actions, promotions, and job leveling/re-leveling.
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the broader People & Culture team to develop innovative solutions, programs, and policies; advocate for these initiatives within the assigned organization.
- Work closely with Senior & Executive Leadership to evaluate, create, and implement innovative solutions for various employee engagement initiatives.
- Effectively partner with cross-functional teams such as Diversity, Learning & Development, Talent Management, and Compensation to share communications and best practices.
- Lead or support special and cross-functional projects as required.
- A Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field is required. A Master's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field is advantageous.
- 5-8 years of experience as an HR generalist/HRBP with exposure to various HR functions or related disciplines.
- Experience in supporting clinical teams is preferred.
- A strong passion for making a business impact and a clear understanding of the strategic value HR contributes to achieving business objectives.
- Possess a strong analytical mindset, conducting research, and continuously enhancing HR policies and procedures.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while delivering timely results.
- Proven capability to influence and collaborate with various organizational levels to achieve desired outcomes, including senior stakeholders.
- Strong business and HR acumen, complemented by excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative.
- Demonstrated ability to coach managers in applying company best practices for optimal effectiveness.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with high-quality document and report preparation capabilities.
- Outstanding presentation skills.
- Experience in an entrepreneurial setting that requires strong multitasking abilities.
