Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety First: The Director of Distribution will be a champion of Safety for all sites and drive continuous improvement ideas that also drive safe working behaviors.
  • Partner with HR: Collaborate with HR to drive company-wide initiatives, such as Safe-Start.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the distribution budget with finance partners.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement distribution strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of distribution managers, supervisors, and staff across all distribution locations.
  • Process Improvement: Partner with OPEX leader to identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices across all sites.
  • Vendor and Partner Relations: Establish and maintain positive working relationships with landlords, vendors, and other external partners.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPI's) and prepare regular reports for senior management.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience within Logistics and Distribution with multi-site level management of 100,000sqft facilities, with at least 5 years in leadership role.
  • Skills: Advanced skills on all Microsoft Office applications, with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Labor Management, Advanced WMS, and ability to pull data from multiple data sources, including BI/COGNOS, JDE, and vendor portals.
