Key Responsibilities

What will your duties include?

  • Coordinate and manage clinical placements for students in polysomnographic technology.
  • Maintain regular communication with clinical affiliates through newsletters to share essential clinical updates.
  • Monitor student progress to ensure they meet clinical objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Program Director to improve the clinical laboratory's resources and equipment.
  • Assist in acquiring new clinical affiliates and orienting preceptors.
  • Document site visits and conduct audits to uphold quality standards.
  • Provide support for students during clinical hours to resolve any issues.
  • Engage in continuous training, classroom instruction, and assessment activities.
  • Participate in advisory board meetings, demonstrating your commitment to program excellence.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

What qualifications are required?

  • Must possess one of the following:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) with 6 months of direct patient care experience; OR
    • 1 Year of post-secondary education.
  • Must hold a current, unencumbered polysomnographic technician license in the state of employment (may be temporary).
  • Must meet all regulatory and corporate requirements.
  • Previous teaching experience is preferred.
