Job Summary

The Social Worker will provide culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate clinical case management services to unaccompanied children and their sponsors. This role requires a strong understanding of child welfare principles and social work best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized needs assessments and develop case plans with attention to culture, language, and special circumstances.
  • Conduct brief clinical interventions to help families address crises and manage conflict.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions and case progress.
  • Build a network of local pro bono legal resources and service providers to facilitate access for unaccompanied children and sponsors.
  • Coordinate and maintain communication with key stakeholders, including supervisors, headquarters staff, and community partners.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science.
  • At least three years of progressive experience in clinical case management, with graduate level licensure (LMSW/LGSW) preferred.
  • Experience in child welfare, child placements, family preservation, behavioral health counseling, and social service provision.
  • Knowledge of trauma-responsive service provision and crisis intervention skills.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
