Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing Bar/Lounge/Restaurant Operations:
    • Develop and implement beverage policies and procedures to drive sales and revenue growth.
    • Manage inventory and ordering for all beverage items, ensuring compliance with budget and business levels.
    • Monitor and control liquor inventory, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
    • Implement effective training programs for staff to ensure they understand liquor control policies and procedures.
    • Manage staffing levels to ensure guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met.
  • Leading Bar/Lounge/Restaurant Team:
    • Supervise and train staff to ensure they understand expectations and parameters.
    • Communicate critical information to the Bar/Lounge staff regarding each event.
    • Empower employees to provide exceptional customer service and resolve guest complaints effectively.
  • Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service:
    • Provide exceptional customer service, interacting with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
    • Respond effectively to guest problems and complaints, ensuring prompt resolution.
    • Empower employees to provide exceptional customer service, focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Managing Human Resource Activities:
    • Support the development and implementation of corrective action plans.
    • Participate in the management of departmental orientation programs for new hires.

Requirements:

  • Education:
    • High school diploma or GED; minimum of two years of bar management experience required.
  • Experience:
    • Two years of dining room supervisor experience, one year of host/cashier experience, and two years of waiter experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Licenses/Certifications:
    • TIPS certification required and Food Safety certification.

Salary Description:

The salary range for this position is $68,000 to $75,000 annually.
