About the Position:

The Admissions Specialist Coordinator plays a vital role in the client admission process, from initial contact to prepping potential clients for intake. This position is responsible for promoting Mountainside's program offerings and ensuring a seamless admission process.

Your Role:

  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Deliver outstanding service to clients, families, and loved ones of our clients, staff, and community providers.
  • Maintain Composure: Remain composed during difficult conversations with clients and families in crisis.
  • Knowledge of Substance Abuse Field: Possess knowledge of the substance abuse field and treatment process.
  • Prioritize and Execute: Prioritize and execute quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation in the electronic medical record for all calls and communications related to client care.
  • Meet Targets: Understand, meet, and exceed targets for monthly and yearly admissions.
  • Liaison: Act as a liaison between client, family, and referring professionals prior to admission.
  • Intake Inquiries: Answer phones, monitor web chat, and handle all intake inquiries efficiently.
  • Program Promotion: Market and promote Mountainside's programs and facilities.
  • Phone Screenings: Complete phone screenings and assist clients in obtaining additional paperwork and documentation as needed.
  • Financial Options: Accurately relay payment information, collect insurance information, and communicate financial options, including obtaining verification of benefits information.
  • Census Counts: Responsible for maintaining census counts and appropriately filling beds for all levels of care.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalency required.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in customer services or related field preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including competence in software applications such as Microsoft Office suite, Adobe, and use of internet applications and wireless computer hardware.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary: Compensation for this position is $40,000 to $80,000 per year, including a competitive performance incentive.
