Event Coordinator

At Grace Farms Foundation, we're seeking a highly skilled Event Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for coordinating, planning, and executing a diverse range of events that reflect the Foundation's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate event logistics, including venue setup, resources, audiovisual, catering, transportation, and staffing needs.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to align event logistics with the broader visitor experience.
- Anticipate and recommend event solutions, ensuring seamless execution and attendee satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the catering team to design and execute food & beverage offerings that align with each event's theme and the Foundation's mission.
- Manage relationships with vendors, ensuring quality and timeliness of services within budget.
- Participate in communications with presenters and hosts to ensure they have the necessary resources and logistic details covered.
- Minimum of three (3) years of event planning/coordination/management experience in cultural institutions or corporate spaces.
- Equivalent of Associates Degree required; Bachelor's Degree in Event Management, Museum Studies, Communications, Hospitality, or similar field preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, administrative, and communication skills, with the ability to execute tasks with a high degree of professionalism and excellence.
- Ability to re-prioritize tasks on-the-fly, making sound, independent decisions consistent with the organization's mission.
- Competencies in fact finding, planning, problem solving, and innovative thinking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, bend, climb stairs, and stand for an extended period of time.
