We are seeking a seasoned Construction Safety Specialist to join our team at Safety Consultants USA, Inc. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year.

Job Overview

This role involves conducting site inspections and manufacturing facility audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate must possess excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions to complex problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect construction sites and facilities to identify potential hazards and promote prevention.
  • Conduct thorough safety incident investigations and document findings in detailed reports.
  • Maintain certification as an OSHA 500 Train the Trainer.
  • Develop and deliver effective safety training programs for employees and contractors.
  • Evaluate contractor operational practices and equipment for safety compliance.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5-7 years' experience in construction and/or manufacturing, with a proven track record of ensuring workplace safety.
  • Possess a reliable vehicle and be willing to travel up to 50% of the time, with occasional out-of-town assignments.
  • Demonstrate maturity and professionalism in all interactions with colleagues, management, and external clients.
  • Exhibit strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Be proficient in multiple software programs used by the company.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
