Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair engine, fuel systems, drive trains, steering, brakes, and suspension components on heavy machinery, including zero turn mowers, hydraulic systems, pumps, forklifts, man lifts, tractors, boom mowers, and various construction and earth-moving equipment. Perform diagnosis and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems across a range of heavy equipment and related apparatus. Utilize precision diagnostic tools and measuring devices to assist in the troubleshooting and repair of the aforementioned systems and components. Conduct diagnosis and repair of air conditioning systems. Execute electronic and engine diagnostics using advanced diagnostic equipment. Program electronic components within the equipment. Carry out related tasks as assigned or required.

Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of journeyman-level experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy machinery, trucks, or off-road vehicles; or An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience. Achievement of ASE certifications in brakes and suspension & steering under Medium-Heavy Truck within one year of employment. Attainment of Mobile Air Conditioning Society or ASE air conditioning certifications within one year of employment. Possession and maintenance of a Florida Commercial Driver's License Class B within one year of employment, contingent upon a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) evaluation. Flexibility to work various schedules, including mandatory work periods during special, emergency, and/or disaster situations.
