Position Overview

We are a faith-oriented Early Childhood Education Center seeking a dedicated Lead Teacher for our Two-Year-Old program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and executing engaging daily lesson plans
  • Facilitating potty training
  • Upholding Alabama State DHR Childcare Licensing Performance Standards within the classroom
  • Performing housekeeping tasks as necessary
  • Supporting daily activities for children
  • Interacting with children aged 2 to 3 years on a daily basis
  • Flexibility to assist in various classrooms as required

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated reliability and dependability
  • Availability to work an 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Compliance with all Alabama State DHR Childcare Licensing Performance Standards, including ABI/FBI Background Check
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
  • If not currently CPR certified, willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of employment
