Position Overview

We are a faith-oriented Early Education Child Care Center seeking a dedicated Lead Teacher for our Two-Year-Old program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and executing daily educational plans
  • Facilitating potty training for children
  • Ensuring compliance with Alabama State DHR Childcare Licensing Performance Standards within the classroom environment
  • Performing general housekeeping tasks
  • Supporting daily activities and routines
  • Engaging with children aged 2 to 3 years on a daily basis
  • Flexibility to assist in various classrooms as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Dependable and trustworthy individual
  • Able to work an 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Must meet all Alabama State DHR Childcare Licensing Performance Standards, including background checks
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
  • If not already CPR certified, willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of employment
