Trinity United Methodist Church is seeking a dedicated Lead Teacher for our Two-Year-Old program within our faith-based Early Education Child Care Center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and executing engaging daily lesson plans tailored for toddlers.
- Facilitating potty training and supporting children's developmental milestones.
- Ensuring compliance with Alabama State DHR Childcare Licensing Performance Standards within the classroom environment.
- Performing general housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe learning space.
- Assisting with daily activities to foster a nurturing atmosphere.
- Interacting with children aged 2 to 3 years on a daily basis.
- Flexibility to support various classrooms as needed.
Qualifications:
- Reliability and dependability are essential traits.
- Availability to work an 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Compliance with all Alabama State DHR Childcare Licensing Performance Standards, including a background check.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- If not currently CPR certified, willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of employment.
