Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and enhance the flow of value through the Agile Release Train (ART) and Solution Train utilizing tools such as Program and Solution Kanban along with other information radiators.
- Facilitate the readiness for Program Increment (PI) planning by encouraging the preparation of vision and backlogs, as well as conducting pre- and post-PI Planning meetings.
- Lead the PI planning event and assist in tracking the execution of features and capabilities.
- Support economic decision-making by guiding teams in estimating features and capabilities, rolling up to Epics when necessary.
- Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile methodologies and mindsets.
- Manage risks and dependencies effectively, escalating and tracking impediments as needed.
- Enhance the flow of value through value streams using Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevOps practices.
- Facilitate system and solution demonstrations.
- Drive continuous improvement through Inspect and Adapt workshops, evaluating the agility level of the ART and Solution Train and assisting in their enhancement.
- Be part of a SAFe Facilitation Support team responsible for guiding and facilitating SAFe principles.
- Plan and manage work while promoting alignment, collaboration, and delivery across numerous agile teams, currently organized into two Agile Release Trains.
The first ART focuses on enabling operational insight by enhancing data discoverability through enterprise search or query capabilities. The second ART concentrates on facilitating operational analysis and data triage through visualization, enrichments, and analytics.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience; additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.
- 8-12 years of relevant experience or a master's degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to thrive in a small agile team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be a US Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Atlassian Software products (JIRA, Confluence, Service Desk, etc.).
- DOD Top Secret Clearance is required.
Compensation Range:
Compensation for this position ranges from $101,000 to $183,300. This range serves as a general guideline and is not a guarantee of salary.
Factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the role, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market alignment.
