Job Overview

Joule Energy is seeking a highly motivated and organized Solar Project Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our project management group, you will be responsible for preparing, organizing, and supervising Joule employees at assigned project sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create organizational structures in project management software and spreadsheets to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain up-to-date project information in relevant software and spreadsheets to facilitate efficient decision-making.
  • Travel to project sites, supervise subcontractors and Joule staff on site as requested, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to maintain project schedules.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to the installation to ensure timely completion.
  • Clearly communicate necessary project information to all relevant personnel, ensuring their full understanding of project objectives and requirements.
  • Understand and communicate the full scope of the project at a technical level to stakeholders and team members.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; master's degree preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in solar and storage construction management in a professional capacity.
  • At least 1-5 years of construction project management experience.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to maintain complex project schedules.
  • Very high level of written and oral communication skills.
  • Technical proficiency in Google Docs, Google Sheets, Excel, and Gmail.
