About the Job:


We are seeking a skilled Site Operations Manager to join our team in Lubbock, Texas. The successful candidate will oversee the management of environmental construction projects, ensuring timely completion, quality delivery, and adherence to safety protocols.



Main Responsibilities:



  • Manage project schedules, labor hours, and resource allocation to ensure efficient progress.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to address project changes, scheduling conflicts, and subcontractor issues.
  • Oversee site safety compliance, identifying potential hazards and reporting concerns to the Project Manager and Site Safety Officer.
  • Supervise and coordinate mid to large-scale construction projects, directing field activities and ensuring quality control.
  • Schedule and coordinate field activities, supervising project crews to maintain safety, quality, efficiency, morale, and communication.
  • Recognize and communicate site conditions impacting project timelines, budgets, or quality.


Qualifications and Requirements:



  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, preferably with Department of Defense sites.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven understanding of construction methods, techniques, equipment, and hands-on experience in a supervisory position.
  • Strong coordination, time management, active listening, oral and written expression, critical thinking, and reasoning skills.
  • Familiarity with administration and management principles.
  • Ability to recognize problems and work towards solutions, exercising good judgment and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Interpersonal skills sufficient to effectively interact with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors.


Additional Requirements:



  • OSHA 40 certification.
  • Successful completion of a U.S. government administered investigation.
  • Ability to travel extensively (over 80%) primarily within the United States.


Pay Range & Benefits:


$75-$110,000 per annum, offering competitive benefits packages and opportunities for growth and development.
