As the Vice President of Precision Medicine Engagement and Awareness (PM E&A), you will spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive strategies aimed at enhancing clinical trial engagement and awareness for Relay Therapeutics' breast cancer initiatives. This pivotal role involves collaborating with both internal teams and external partners to cultivate solutions that boost awareness and participation in clinical trials, integrate essential insights into medical strategies, and foster networks and partnerships that support patient identification and trial advancement. We are in search of a dynamic leader who excels in communication, possesses strong interpersonal abilities, and is adept at building relationships across various functions while being actively involved in the breast cancer domain.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and oversee a cohesive PM E&A strategy in collaboration with stakeholders, key opinion leaders, clinical sites, and patients for Relay Therapeutics' breast cancer initiatives.
  • Establish and nurture credible scientific relationships with national and prominent regional opinion leaders, as well as clinicians and researchers specializing in breast cancer.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in breast cancer, providing vital medical insights to inform the development strategies of clinical programs.
  • Mentor, develop, and retain a high-performing team by offering opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
  • Enhance the PML/MSL strategy to facilitate patient and investigator identification and drive trial enrollment.
  • Provide strategic leadership in congress planning and key opinion leader engagement, ensuring proactive interactions and thorough reviews of key insights and feedback.
  • Organize and conduct Medical Advisory Boards in partnership with external agencies to gather critical feedback on Relay Therapeutics' breast cancer trials.
  • Lead the creation of communication plans at the indication/protocol level with external stakeholders to enhance trial awareness and referrals for potential patients.
  • Advance advocacy engagement strategies by collaborating with breast cancer advocacy organizations to assess communication materials and elevate awareness of Relay Therapeutics' clinical trials.
Your Qualifications:
  • Advanced health sciences degree (PharmD, MD, or PhD preferred), or equivalent qualifications such as PA, MSN, NP, DNP, along with relevant pharmaceutical industry or clinical research experience in breast cancer.
  • Required clinical or pharmaceutical experience in oncology.
  • Over 10 years of clinical or pharmaceutical experience, with at least 8 years in field medical or clinical trial engagement roles.
  • In-depth understanding of local medical practices and clinical decision-making processes related to patient care.
  • Proficient in interpreting scientific data and translating it to meet educational, clinical, and research needs.
  • Familiarity with the design and execution of research studies.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with effective collaboration abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding clinical trial timelines and patient recruitment objectives.
  • History of cultivating long-term relationships with investigative sites, advocacy groups, and other key stakeholders in clinical research.
  • Knowledge of effective digital communication technologies for clinical trials.
  • Demonstrated expertise in CFR and GCP/ICH requirements and the European Clinical Trial Directive.
