Senior Director, Companion Diagnostics Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Director, Companion Diagnostics Lead to join our team at Bayer. As a key member of our Precision Medicine team, you will be responsible for executing global diagnostic strategies for our Precision Medicine portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive companion diagnostic strategies for our Precision Medicine portfolio, ensuring seamless integration with clinical development and commercial functions.
- Collaborate with diagnostic partners, IPT members, and other key stakeholders to drive the development of companion diagnostics and ensure timely delivery of CDx milestones.
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve deliverables on schedule, leveraging your expertise in precision medicine, diagnostics, and therapies in oncology.
- Develop and maintain a patient-centric vision for our companion diagnostics, ensuring alignment with our overall oncology strategy and Precision Medicine community.
- Identify new opportunities for collaboration and manage excellent relationships with new and existing partners to drive Precision Medicine excellence.
- Medical doctor (MD) and/or PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or Genetics.
- Thorough understanding of diagnostics and therapies in oncology.
- Experience with companion diagnostic development, including quality system and regulatory framework.
- Strong network in the academic and clinical community of Oncology, Regulatory, Diagnostics, and Pathology.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English, oral and written.
- Experience in leading cross-functional internal teams and driving cross-company project teams to achieve deliverables on schedule.
- 8+ years of industry experience or 10+ years overall in diagnostic development.
