Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at DICK'S Sporting Goods. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional administrative support to our senior management team.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and coordinate travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, and rental cars
- Draft and prepare memorandums, correspondence, and presentations to support business objectives
- Set up and arrange company visits and external meetings, ensuring seamless logistics and communication
- Prepare presentations, agendas, and documentation to facilitate effective decision-making
- Manage and maintain calendars, scheduling meetings and appointments with senior management and external stakeholders
- Screen phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Perform special projects, including creating presentations and coordinating multiple projects to drive business results
- Disseminate important information to relevant stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate communication
- Organize files, documents, and paperwork, maintaining a secure and efficient filing system
- Manage transition activities for new hires, ensuring a smooth onboarding process
- Coordinate departmental budget preparation and maintenance, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Screen correspondence and direct to appropriate parties, ensuring prompt and effective communication
- High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred
- 8+ years of administrative experience, with a focus on senior-level management support
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, and Visio
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work overtime and flexible hours as needed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a professional manner and approach
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
