Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster existing client relationships while exploring new avenues for potential partnerships.
  • Initiate contact with prospective clients and cultivate business relationships through outreach and in-person meetings.
  • Identify emerging market trends and leverage new business prospects.
  • Collaborate with Terminal Managers to devise and execute strategic pricing tailored to local markets.
  • Build a robust portfolio of business and maintain an updated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to guide pipeline decisions and prioritization.
  • Effectively increase tonnages for all Pinnacle products across the network.
  • Investigate current industry needs and develop new opportunities for business growth.
  • Work alongside sales and operational teams to ensure alignment with sales targets and profitability objectives.
  • Oversee the implementation of new business initiatives in collaboration with operational and support teams.
  • Mentor junior sales personnel to enhance sales performance and achieve targets.
  • Assist operational teams in the rollout of new services and/or products, including new destination operations.
