Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading manufacturer of life-support equipment, harnesses, and safety gear for military and civilian use. As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our strategic goals forward by overseeing all aspects of project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage complex projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meeting or exceeding expectations.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and process improvement strategies to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, quality, and supply chain to deliver project objectives.
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk assessments, and post-project evaluations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identify opportunities for process optimization, and implement best practices in project management.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and growth.
  • Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project performance, manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs, and conduct project reviews to assess outcomes against the project plan.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in manufacturing operations management, lean manufacturing, process improvement, and leadership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. They will also have a strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools, as well as experience with lean manufacturing and process improvement techniques.
