  • Ensure all equipment and facilities are maintained in optimal condition.
  • Source and manage local vendors for maintenance and supplies.
  • Act as the primary contact for local regulatory compliance and requirements.
  • Manage recruitment, training, and professional development of staff.
  • Support and communicate adherence to corporate policies and procedures.
  • Be an approachable, hands-on leader, setting a positive example for the team.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant technical or business discipline.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • At least 7 years of experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
  • Experience in lumber remanufacturing or woodworking is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in lean six sigma methodologies with a proven track record of leading change initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data collection and interpretation.
  • Highly organized, energetic, and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills with a commitment to integrity and accountability.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and processes related to scheduling, inventory, and logistics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills.
