About the Role

Ochsner Health is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Speech Therapist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Pediatric Speech Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our young patients, helping them to overcome communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to identify communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
  • Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current speech pathologist license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure by examination
  • Certification of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
