Role Responsibilities
Epic Travel Staffing is looking for a Travel - SLP specializing in Pediatrics
Shift: Days, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 40 hours per week
Duration: 13 weeks
Qualifications:
- Valid state license in Louisiana
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience required
- Speech-Language Pathology license issued by LBESPA / ASHA Certification
- AHA BLS certification
- Experience with pediatric patients preferred
- Background in acute and inpatient rehabilitation
The Speech Language Therapist will be responsible for assessing and delivering therapy to a diverse patient population, including neonates, infants, toddlers, school-age children, adolescents, and adults with communication and swallowing disorders. The therapist will plan, organize, and coordinate care for all assigned cases, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to establish outcome goals and effective interventions.
The role requires effective utilization of agency and community resources to promote patient and family independence in their care.
