Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Allegheny Health Network. As a RN - GI Lab (Casual) Position, you will be responsible for assessing human responses and planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for individuals or families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in a professional practice setting and contribute to building the team by helping others succeed through role modeling and mentoring.
- Assign or delegate tasks based on the needs of the patient and skill level of the RN, LPN, or support staff.
- Consider maintenance of a safe environment, patient condition, complexity of the intervention, and predictability of the outcome.
- Participate on interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care or health services and promote patient safety initiatives.
- Supervise, delegate, and evaluate assigned LPN scope of practice as appropriate.
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, evaluate, and implement a patient plan of care according to individual needs.
Requirements:
- Completed RN training program and have PA RN licensure or have applied for practice permit.
- CPR Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in area of specialty.
