Job Summary:

As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with Allegheny Health Network, you will provide high-quality anesthetic care to patients in the surgical setting. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to patient safety and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement anesthetic management for all patients presenting for anesthesia care.

Provide accurate medical record documentation and continuous observation of patients under anesthetic care, correcting abnormal patient responses as needed.

Collaborate with attending physicians to develop and implement plans of care, involving them in clinical decision-making for issues outside your scope of practice.

Participate in performance and quality improvement initiatives, adhering to legal and ethical standards of nursing and the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.

Act as a clinical resource to the interdisciplinary healthcare team, serving as a mentor to new staff or students as needed.

Requirements:

Current PA RN license

Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists

BLS certification

Previous CRNA experience preferred
