Job Summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Clinical Manager to lead our Endoscopy Department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, managing and developing staff, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Department Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight to the Endoscopy Department, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team of nurses and support staff, providing coaching and feedback to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with physicians, management, and other stakeholders to address strategic initiatives and organizational goals.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure a safe and high-quality patient care environment, adhering to Memorial Hermann's policies and procedures.
  • Professional Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, supporting staff in achieving their career goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Nursing degree from an accredited school of professional nursing required.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing, Certified in Basic Life Support, and professional certification in clinical area or management preferred.
  • Experience: Three or more years of experience in clinical area of practice and minimum one year experience in a supervisory or management role.
