Job Title: Business Analyst/Analytics Task Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead and coordinate analytics integration and portfolio management efforts. This individual will oversee tasks such as requirements gathering, data acquisition and integration, data mapping, implementation, user testing, fielding and sustainment, while collaborating with key subject matter experts and providing updates to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead multiple tasks to deliver big data analytic capabilities, working through a wide range of challenges across multiple organizations.
  • Collaborate with key functional stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify future analytics, machine learning, and data science needs and document business cases and requirements.
  • Analyze functional requirements and system data across large IT portfolios to support implementation assessment, assess level of effort, and recommend prioritization and approaches to meet requirements.
  • Support analysis of alternatives, business case analysis, implementation plans, technology plans, and guide the functional communities toward a future state capability.
Requirements:
  • Strong organizational skills and action-oriented personality, with experience leading tasks, tracking actions across multiple organizations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, backed by solid writing and communication skills, with the ability to operate constructively and effectively with end-users, customers, advocates, and stakeholders.
  • Prior experience working on efforts to implement or improve analytics tools, such as Qlik, Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with agile and scrum, experience using continuous process improvement methodologies, tools, techniques, and certifications such as Green Belt, Black Belt, and PMP.
  • Power user skills in MS Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access.
  • Recent and relevant U.S. Air Force Logistics experience is ideal.
