Job Title: Product Manager - Apple Watch

As a Product Manager at Apple, you will be responsible for representing the customer throughout the product's journey from concept to launch. You will develop and apply insights to help infuse innovative features and advanced technology into our product-development process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in a global cross-functional team with hardware and software engineering, industrial and product design, marketing communications, and public relations through the complete product development lifecycle.
  • Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for future products.
  • Collect global customer, developer, and partner requirements for new products.
  • Manage trade-offs involving features, schedule, line positioning, and lifecycle management.
  • Discern new product development opportunities while contributing to the development of the overall Apple Watch product line strategy.
  • Possess expert knowledge of competitive products and market trends.
  • Communicate and position the product in context of the competitive landscape.
  • Define product positioning and key product messages.
  • Work with marketing communications and PR on the development of product launch activities, press releases, and marketing materials.
  • Travel the world as the ambassador for your product attending trade shows, customer visits, and press briefings.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years track record working closely with cross-functional teams from an inbound product development and outbound product marketing perspective.
  • Experience and knowledge of smartwatch, wearable, fitness, health, portable and/or related consumer hardware products, software, or operating systems.
  • Skilled with press, media, and influencers.
  • A self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities.
  • You can balance multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Well-versed in formulating product messaging including creating and delivering outbound marketing.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as shown success as a product spokesperson on a national or global level.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally a few times a year.
  • Bachelor's and/or master's degree, or MBA preferred.
