Key Responsibilities- Partner with multi-disciplinary teams to drive product success
- Lead technical readiness for program development cycle
- Drive project quality issues with material, process, fixtures, equipment, etc.
- Utilize DOE, FMEA, and other industry-standard tools to identify and address risks
- Establish quality programs and process control plans
- Manage the Product Quality Plan (PQP)
- Develop and implement new technologies to improve production quality, capacity, and efficiency
- Succinctly communicate technical updates to the executive team
- Own product quality strategy and execution
- Manage quality processes at OEMs, including Incoming Quality Control (IQC), Outgoing Quality Control (OQC), Ongoing Reliability Testing (ORT)
- BS/MS in Engineering or equivalent
- Proven experience in New Product Introduction / Design Engineering / Manufacturing Operations consumer electronics
- Good understanding of electronic assembly processes
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and production control processes
- Knowledgeable in data analysis and interpretation
- Experience partnering with international contract manufacturers in mass production
- Ability to travel internationally about 20-30%
