Reporting directly to the Organizational Development Manager, the HR Recruiter will take charge of the daily recruitment for hourly production positions, utilizing both direct sourcing methods and agency partnerships as necessary. This role will collaborate closely with hiring managers to outline job specifications and identify, source, screen, and engage a diverse array of candidates who meet the outlined criteria. Additional duties encompass tracking candidates, orienting new hires, coordinating onboarding processes, and collaborating with the Luxfer Riverside HR team on various HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with department leadership to understand staffing requirements and timelines.
- Oversee the complete recruitment cycle from job requisition to onboarding.
- Maintain relationships with organizations to ensure a steady flow of talent for hourly production roles.
- Assist in creating necessary documentation for effective recruitment, including job descriptions and advertisements.
- Develop job postings that target the appropriate talent pool for each opening and manage internal and external postings for Luxfer Riverside.
- Conduct initial screening interviews and coordinate further interviews with hiring managers and team members.
- Manage all post-offer requirements, including drug screenings, physical assessments, and background checks.
- Welcome new employees and conduct orientation sessions, ensuring they are informed about their benefits and enrollment processes.
- Participate in job fairs and recruitment events at local educational institutions and community organizations.
- Input new hires into payroll and timekeeping systems.
- Collaborate with the Human Resource Manager on various projects supporting facility and organizational strategic goals.
- Engage with staffing agencies regarding contract labor and conduct orientations for agency employees as needed.
- Support additional HR functions as required.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in Human Resources with increasing responsibilities in onboarding, HRIS data management, and talent recruitment.
- Possession of a 2-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least 1 year of experience utilizing a Human Resource Information System, including data entry and report generation.
