Job Summary

BBSI Southern California is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for planning and arranging work to meet production requirements, picking and sorting doors, and performing quality checks using measuring devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and arrange work to meet production requirements
  • Pick and sort doors, ranging in size based on work order form
  • Perform quality checks using measuring devices such as tape measures and measuring tables
  • Load and unload doors weighing 40 to 50 lbs. into trailers
  • Add cardboard protectors to the product
  • Palletize and prepare doors for delivery based on shipping destination
  • Work both individually and as a team member
  • Will be cross-trained on other aspects of the production process
  • Perform essential housekeeping duties
  • Communicate with management and maintenance, verbally or through work orders, with specific problems that may affect safety, quality, and productivity

Requirements:

  • Previous experience using a forklift and pulling orders
