Position Summary

We are seeking an Administrative Specialist to provide essential support to the Space Science & Security Program (SSSP), a critical Intelligence initiative. In this role, you will play a vital part in the operational functions of your team, driving efforts toward achieving strategic objectives. Your ability to foresee potential challenges and offer effective solutions will be crucial in ensuring the success of your team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute a wide range of complex administrative tasks, including managing schedules, coordinating travel arrangements, processing financial documentation, and organizing meetings while adhering to security protocols.
  • Serve as a primary contact for various program areas, representing key personnel in daily operations and addressing inquiries from all management levels.
  • Draft and prepare both classified and unclassified documents, reports, and presentations by synthesizing information from diverse sources.
  • Independently tackle problems of considerable scope and complexity.
  • Research and interpret organizational policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience delivering high-quality administrative support in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with a diverse range of individuals and roles.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities, sound judgment, adaptability, and dependability.
  • Advanced proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office, email, and scheduling tools.
  • Experience in compiling, monitoring, and reporting data and outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with LINCS as a TRR and/or willingness to become a TRR for the program.
  • Experience in handling classified information securely.
  • Expertise in managing complex clearance requirements across various contexts.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances in a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) environment, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
  • Experience interpreting and applying organizational policies and procedures.

Additional Information

This position is classified as Career Indefinite and is open to both internal and external candidates.

Security Clearance Requirements

This role necessitates a Department of Energy (DOE) Q-level clearance, along with the ability to obtain and maintain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access. A Federal background investigation will be initiated to assess eligibility for access to classified information.
