  • Efficiently manage patient flow to maintain a smooth schedule for physicians.
  • Assist patients to exam rooms, collect patient history, and conduct thorough screenings.
  • Respond to patient phone calls and provide clear instructions as directed by physicians.
  • Maintain exam rooms and medical supplies to ensure a clean and organized environment.
  • Adhere to universal precautions when assisting with patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with and follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality.
  • Perform clerical duties as required, including updating electronic medical records, completing forms, and charting patient information.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or Athletic Trainer.
  • Valid Athletic Trainer license.
  • Orthopedic experience is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in triaging patient care issues.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinic environment.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and safety guidelines/regulations.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
