Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Clinic Support Specialist to contribute to our mission. This role involves managing patient registration, scheduling appointments, processing payments, and assisting with insurance and billing inquiries. The Clinic Support Specialist will also perform routine administrative tasks under the guidance of the Director.

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately register patient encounters, including demographic and insurance data entry.
  • Provide a warm and courteous greeting to patients and visitors upon arrival.
  • Educate staff and physicians on scheduling processes and computer system usage.
  • Schedule patient appointments via phone, in-person, and electronically.
  • Handle multiple tasks, including patient inquiries, correspondence, data entry, and compliance with medical records.
  • Verify insurance eligibility through online resources.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using computer software, telephone systems, and general office equipment.
  • Support compliance with organizational regulatory requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:
One year of experience in a similar role; some college coursework in business or healthcare; familiarity with medical terminology.
