Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including restraint, triage, and anesthesia management
  • Collect and analyze lab samples, perform diagnostic imaging, and provide nursing care to medical and hospitalized cases
  • Administer medications, communicate treatment plans with clients, and maintain accurate medical records
  • Participate in surgical preparation and assistance, and maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience as a Veterinary Assistant or in a related field
  • Compassionate and calm demeanor, with excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to properly restrain pets and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in sample collection, medical histories, laboratory tests, and radiographs is a plus
