Role Overview

As a Safety and Security Specialist at El Encanto, A Belmond Hotel, you play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation, functionality, and grandeur of our facilities. In this position, you will act as a diligent steward of the infrastructure, safeguarding the well-being of our team members, guests, and visitors. This is an opportunity to enhance your skills and contribute to the future of luxury hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage access control by locking and unlocking entry points and gates throughout the property.
  • Provide escort services for guests and hotel staff, particularly during late-night hours when valet parking is unavailable.
  • Maintain order among diverse groups of guests, ensuring a harmonious environment.
  • Report any suspicious activities to supervisors or hotel management, documenting incidents in real-time.
  • Investigate disturbances reported by hotel staff and guests, remaining on-call as needed.
  • Utilize resources responsibly to minimize waste.
  • Communicate pertinent information effectively across departments.
  • Adhere to safe working practices and the Health and Safety policy, ensuring that any accidents or defects are reported immediately.
  • Participate in learning and development opportunities, completing required eLearning modules.
