Pay: $17-19 per hour
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 8am-4pm
Overview
Star Pro Security is looking for a dedicated and observant Security Operations Specialist to enhance our security team at a client's medical device facility. The main duties will involve conducting both vehicle and foot patrols, overseeing the premises, and ensuring the safety and security of the establishment and its personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Vehicle Surveillance: Carry out regular vehicle surveillance around the building's perimeter and parking areas. Ensure all entry points and external locations are secure and report any suspicious activities or unauthorized vehicles.
- Foot Surveillance: Execute routine foot surveillance inside and around the facility to monitor security and safety conditions. Verify that doors, windows, and other access points are secure.
- Access Management: Oversee and regulate access to the building. Verify identification and credentials of visitors and contractors, and maintain a log of all entries and exits.
- Emergency Response: React promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies. Document and report any security breaches, safety hazards, or incidents.
- Monitoring Systems: Observe and monitor CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment to identify any suspicious activities or potential threats.
- Visitor Assistance: Provide assistance and guidance to visitors and employees, ensuring a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed daily activity logs and incident reports. Communicate effectively with the security team and management.
- Experience: Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
- Skills: Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
- Licenses/Certifications: Valid security guard license as required by the state. CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Must possess a VALID Driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
- Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 8am-4pm
