Position Overview
The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safety and security of all individuals within the facility, including patients, staff, and visitors. This position plays a crucial role in safeguarding the organization's assets and property against theft and vandalism.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Essential:
High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred: Completion of relevant college-level coursework.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Essential:
Private Proprietary Security Officer License (PPSO) and a valid California Driver License to be obtained within two weeks of employment. Heartsaver CPR AED certification is required within six months of hire or transfer.
RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE
Essential:
Preferred: At least one year of security experience or two years of military service.
