We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Part-Time Receptionist to join our team at Accounting Career Consultants. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, administrative support, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office.

About the Role

This part-time receptionist role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and professional environment, where you will play a crucial role as the first point of contact for our organization. You will be responsible for answering phone calls, directing visitors, managing room reservations, and handling incoming and outgoing mail. Additionally, you will assist with drafting letters, memos, and other documents, scan, file, and organize documents, and perform other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; supplemental coursework in computer/word processing, business, English, or mathematics preferred;
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, or 1 year of experience with 1 year of college-level coursework in a related field;
  • Skillset: Familiarity with general office procedures and equipment (e.g., copiers, printers); proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, as well as email and calendar tools; ability to type at least 50 WPM; strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail;
  • Attributes: Adaptability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; effective and tactful communication skills, both written and verbal, with diverse clients and stakeholders.
