Role Summary:

We are currently seeking skilled Avionics Technicians eager to advance their careers in a dynamic and evolving work environment.

The Avionics Technician will be responsible for the installation, inspection, testing, adjustment, and repair of avionics systems, including radar, radio, navigation, and missile control systems within aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, inspect, modify, and maintain aircraft avionics, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Document all work performed in accordance with relevant manuals and regulatory requirements.
  • Follow the company's operational guidelines for factory, shop, and hangar roles.
  • Adhere to environmental health and safety standards and protocols.
  • Engage in 5-S initiatives to maintain workplace organization.
  • Execute all assigned tasks safely and within designated timeframes.
  • Assist with mechanical and electrical component removals and installations.
  • Provide maintenance support at off-site locations as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance disciplines as required.

Qualifications:

Education:

Required:

High school diploma or GED.

Ability to obtain necessary Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications.

Successful completion of the following training programs provided by AAA United States, Inc. post-hire:

  • Health & Safety Training
  • General Aircraft Familiarization
  • Quality Assurance Training

Preferred:

  • Training from an avionics or electrical Aircraft Technical School or equivalent.
  • Capability to secure a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) if required.
  • Certification, P Certification, or A&P Certificate.
  • General Radiotelephone Operator License (GROL) or Aircraft Electronics Technician (AET) Certificate.

Experience:

Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years of avionics experience or equivalent on corporate aircraft.
  • Hands-on experience with drilling tools, templates, drilling machines, fasteners, and torque tools.

Preferred:

  • Over 5 years of experience in Aviation Production.
  • Familiarity with corporate jets.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols, quality standards, and OSHA regulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency in PC applications.
