Position Overview:

We are currently seeking skilled Avionics Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidates will thrive in a dynamic and complex work environment.

The Avionics Technician will be responsible for the installation, inspection, testing, adjustment, and repair of avionics systems, including radar, radio, navigation, and missile control systems within aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify, and service avionics, electrical, and electronic systems in aircraft.
  • Document all work performed in accordance with relevant manuals and regulations.
  • Follow company protocols for factory, shop, and hangar roles.
  • Adhere to environmental health and safety standards.
  • Engage in 5-S activities to maintain workplace organization.
  • Execute all tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
  • Support maintenance activities at various locations as required.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance disciplines as necessary.

Qualifications:

Education:

Required:

High school diploma or GED is mandatory.

Ability to obtain necessary Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications.

Completion of specific training provided by AAA United States, Inc. post-recruitment, including:

  • Health & Safety
  • General aircraft familiarization
  • Quality assurance training

Preferred:

  • Training from an avionics or electrical Aircraft Technical School or equivalent.
  • Capability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) if necessary.
  • Possession of an A Certification, P Certification, or A&P Certificate.
  • General Radiotelephone Operator License (GROL) or Aircraft Electronics Technician (AET) Certificate.

Experience:

Required:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in avionics or a comparable field, particularly with corporate aircraft.
  • Hands-on experience with drilling tools, templates, drilling machines, fasteners, and torquing tools.

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of experience in Aviation Production.
  • Experience working on corporate jets.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols, quality standards, and OSHA regulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency in PC skills.
