Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
As part of the Avionics Team, you will take ownership of all aspects of V-BAT avionics, including:

  • Supporting critical avionics from initial concept through to production, including rapid prototyping.
  • Contributing to the evolution of avionics architectures to enhance V-BAT capabilities.
  • Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and rectifying electrical hardware issues, while implementing improvements to boost reliability.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative autonomous features.
  • Overseeing aircraft flight operations and conducting data reviews to assess aircraft health and performance.
  • Addressing technical challenges with thorough analysis and testing.
  • Performing additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A B.S. degree or relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in electrical system design, integration, testing, debugging, and repair.
  • Proficiency in interpreting circuit schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong analytical skills and a solid foundation in engineering principles.
  • Experience working within cross-functional engineering teams.
  • A proven track record of ownership and delivering exceptional results.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A commitment to high standards, teamwork, and kindness.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $68,309 - $102,464 annually, complemented by a bonus, benefits, and equity for regular employees. Temporary positions offer hourly compensation within the same range, along with a temporary benefits package.
