Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives to cultivate a positive workplace culture
  • Ensure high levels of satisfaction among patients, staff, and physicians
  • Oversee daily operations of the practice
  • Implement and uphold policies and procedures
  • Manage compliance and risk management across care centers
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for all staff roles
  • Maintain current knowledge of all operational functions
  • Collaborate with HR on recruitment, performance evaluations, and employee relations
  • Develop staffing schedules based on operational needs
  • Provide training and mentorship to staff members
  • Ensure proper utilization of office equipment
  • Manage physician scheduling and templates within the practice management system
  • Oversee purchasing decisions and inventory management
  • Establish annual budgets and financial objectives
  • Authorize payments in accordance with financial policies
  • Review daily charge collections for accuracy
  • Coordinate with accounting on accounts payable
  • Work with credentialing to secure necessary documentation
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle team to optimize reimbursement
  • Communicate employee relations issues with HR
  • Identify IT needs and coordinate with the IT department
  • Engage with the CEO on operational strategies
  • Promote the practice brand and physicians
  • Monitor workflow and manage outstanding tasks
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and other key performance indicators
  • Organize monthly meetings for physicians
  • Maintain an organized and professional office environment
  • Facilitate regular staff meetings
  • Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
  • 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in medical practice management
  • Strong understanding of practice operations, finance, and human resources
  • Bilingual in Spanish is highly desirable
