Job Title: Business Contract Coordinator

Weston & Sampson is seeking a highly skilled Business Contract Coordinator to join our team. As a Business Contract Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the entire contract lifecycle, from development and drafting to review and negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and draft contracts using our in-house templates
  • Review incoming contracts from clients, conducting risk management assessments
  • Coordinate with clients throughout the contract lifecycle
  • Assist in contract negotiations as required
  • Generate job numbers in Vision/Vantagepoint
  • Monitor contract performance against scope and budget
  • Prepare annual contract renewals and manage escalation terms
  • Track and manage contract expiration dates
  • Handle contract disputes as needed
  • Coordinate with third-party bonding and insurance agents to meet contractual obligations
Requirements:
  • Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience is required
  • Must be willing to obtain required licenses within specified timeframe
  • Valid driver's license is required with good driving record
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in a team environment and get along with others
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, with strong writing and verbal skills
  • Ability to organize, manage and coordinate multiple assignments
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to create and manage efficient systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with clients, office personnel, and field teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and ideally Vision/Vantagepoint
  • Experience in contract lifecycle management, including drafting, negotiation, and performance monitoring
  • Familiarity with contract bonding and insurance processes is advantageous
  • Ability to review timesheets and manage billing processes accurately
  • Experience with database management and reporting preferred
  • Flexibility to potentially manage additional responsibilities depending on organizational needs
