About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in San Diego, CA. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing small to medium-sized projects from vision to implementation. You will work closely with cross-functional project stakeholders to develop project scope, objectives, goals, and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage small to medium-sized projects.
  • Integrate all functions and activities necessary to perform the project/program to meet the client or customer requirements.
  • Direct project team personnel, manage cost and schedule, ensure contract compliance, and serve as customer interface.
  • Manage technical, cost, and schedule of assigned tasks or functions.
  • Provide strong, proactive, and assertive leadership skills that engage multidiscipline work teams to respond to business needs for assigned projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering, or a related field, and at least 8+ years of related experience, or a Master's Degree and at least 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Five (5+) years of experience managing hardware or software development programs.
  • Five (5+) years of experience supervising or leading projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and reporting.
  • Five (5+) years of experience managing small to medium-sized projects under DoD-sponsored Contracts.
  • Five (5+) years of demonstrated experience in the management and control of funds and resources using complex reporting mechanisms.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Earned Value Management system (EVMS) process.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project.
  • Familiarity with modern-day Cybersecurity and Cryptographic Key Management solutions.
  • PMP Certified.
  • Master's Degree in a relevant technical or management field.
  • DoD 8570 approved security certification (i.e., Security +).
