Job Overview

SGI Global, LLC is in search of a Mid-Level Identity Intelligence Specialist to contribute to our mission in Arlington, VA. This role focuses on enhancing the office of Counterintelligence and Counterterrorism Vetting (CCV) through advanced analytical techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage diverse datasets and specialized analytical tools to assess individuals that may threaten U.S. interests, providing insights to mitigate potential risks.
  • Analyze biometric and biographic data on subjects of interest using the Biometric Identity Intelligence Resource (BI2R) and other relevant databases.
  • Conduct independent research and analysis to identify potential threats, compiling findings for senior management and security officials.
  • Lead comprehensive all-source analysis, utilizing both classified and unclassified intelligence sources.
  • Proactively identify emerging concerns in open-source threat assessments.
  • Ensure timely addition of individuals posing threats to appropriate watch lists and facilitate information sharing with security personnel.
  • Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and directives to meet operational objectives.
  • Respond to inquiries from various offices regarding threat assessments, providing necessary analysis and recommendations.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on analytical findings to security personnel and senior management.
  • Provide training in biometrics analysis to new contract analysts and security personnel.
  • Support the conduct of polygraph examinations as per established protocols.
  • Travel as needed to provide identity intelligence analysis support globally.
  • Utilize the Diplomatic Security Identity Assurance System (DSIAS) for biometric enrollment of staff and applicants.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the CCV mission.
  • Maintain proper storage and management of both classified and unclassified data.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant intelligence analysis experience, with a Bachelor's Degree, or 6 years without a degree, preferably within U.S. Government agencies.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Identity Intelligence or biometric analysis.
  • Familiarity with foreign affairs and terrorism-related information collection and analysis.
  • Experience in personnel vetting and investigations, with knowledge of CI/HUMINT analysis.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in utilizing intelligence databases and automated systems for analytical support.
  • Strong communication skills for preparing and presenting analysis and recommendations.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with individuals across various organizational levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to manage multiple complex tasks.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on mission objectives.

Security Clearance:

  • TOP SECRET Clearance with SCI Access is required.
  • Must maintain a current U.S. Government TOP SECRET Personnel Security Clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

Travel Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel to high-threat areas may be necessary.

This position is primarily based at U.S. Embassies and Consulates in designated high-threat countries.
