Key Responsibilities:- Leverage diverse datasets and advanced analytical methodologies to assess individuals who may present risks to U.S. and State Department operations.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of biometric and biographic data using the Biometric Identity Intelligence Resource (BI2R) and other essential databases.
- Independently investigate and analyze threat information, preparing detailed reports for relevant stakeholders.
- Design and execute extensive all-source intelligence analyses utilizing both classified and unclassified information.
- Proactively identify additional areas of concern within open-source threat assessments.
- Ensure timely updates to watch lists for individuals posing potential threats to U.S. interests.
- Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and directives to achieve operational objectives.
- Respond to inquiries from various offices regarding threat assessments, providing necessary analysis and insights.
- Deliver presentations on findings to Regional Security Officers and senior management as required.
- Facilitate training sessions for new Identity Intelligence Analysts on biometrics analysis.
- Provide instruction on the Diplomatic Security Identity Assurance System (DSIAS) to relevant personnel.
- Support polygraph examination processes as dictated by established protocols.
- Travel to various locations worldwide to offer identity intelligence analysis support as needed.
- Utilize DSIAS for biometric enrollment of locally employed staff and applicants.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the CCV mission.
- Ensure proper management and storage of both classified and unclassified data.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant intelligence analysis experience, with a Bachelor's Degree, or 6 years without a degree, ideally within U.S. Government agencies.
- At least 2 years of experience in Identity Intelligence or biometric analysis.
- Familiarity with the collection and analysis of foreign affairs and terrorism-related information.
- Experience in personnel vetting and investigations, with knowledge of CI/HUMINT analysis.
- Proficient in utilizing intelligence databases and automated systems for analytical support.
- Preferred educational background in Political Science, International Affairs, or related fields.
- Strong oral and written communication skills for effective analysis presentation and guidance.
- Able to engage with individuals across various organizational levels to foster collaboration.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and capacity to manage multiple complex tasks.
- Team-oriented with a focus on mission success.
- TOP SECRET Clearance with SCI Access is mandatory.
- Must possess a current U.S. Government TOP SECRET Personnel Security Clearance.
- Eligibility for SCI access requires a recent Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Ability to maintain necessary security clearance and access approvals.
- Potential travel to high-risk areas may be necessary, with varying living conditions.
- Overseas travel may involve exposure to hazardous environments requiring safety precautions.
This position is primarily based at U.S. Embassies and Consulates in designated high-threat regions.
