Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Attorney Advisor to join our team at the Department of the Navy. As a key member of our legal department, you will provide expert advice and guidance on civil and administrative law matters, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and services on civil and administrative law, government ethics, federal litigation, professional responsibility, military justice, and general military law.
  • Serve as the principal legal advisor to the Staff Judge Advocate (SJA) to the Commandant of the Marine Corps (CMC) on all civil and administrative law issues.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with federal regulations and policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments and agencies to resolve complex legal issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to Marine Corps personnel on legal matters.
Requirements
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance.
  • Must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
  • At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
  • Experience in providing legal advice and services on civil and administrative law, government ethics, federal litigation, professional responsibility, military justice, and general military law.
