Care to Stay Home is seeking dedicated caregivers to become part of our compassionate team. In this role, you will provide personalized care to clients in their homes, adhering to individualized care plans. Your role is crucial in fostering meaningful connections with those you assist, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to creating a nurturing environment that caters to the needs of each patient. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this position. We offer flexible shift options including 4, 8, and 12-hour day shifts, as well as 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, and hygiene
  • Support meal preparation and cooking
  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry and cleaning
  • Help clients with mobility and daily activities
  • Document patient care and report any changes to supervisors
  • Engage clients in conversation or reading to promote mental well-being
  • Provide medication reminders
  • Encourage participation in exercises and activities
  • Demonstrate reliability by attending scheduled shifts punctually

Available Shifts:

  • Day shifts from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm - options for part-time and full-time hours
  • Night shifts from 8:00 pm to 8:00 am - 12-hour awake shifts

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of two years experience in senior care
  • HCA or CNA certification preferred (training classes available)
  • Valid driver's license required
  • CPR certification preferred
