Position Summary:
As the appointed administrative authority at the facility during non-peak hours and weekends, you will oversee all patient care sectors, ensuring outstanding quality of service and adherence to regulatory standards.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Oversee patient care operations during non-peak hours and weekends
  • Ensure that the staff provides top-notch care in line with established regulations and standards
  • Manage workforce levels and skill diversity across all shifts
  • Engage in the formulation and evaluation of departmental policies
  • Apply best practices to improve quality of care and services
  • Evaluate and enhance clinical nursing methodologies
  • Develop processes aimed at improving patient care results
  • Monitor care quality to meet the needs of a diverse patient population
  • Provide supervision to staff, identify training requirements, and encourage educational growth
  • Collaborate with various departments within the healthcare facility
  • Serve as an advocate for patients
  • Assist in financial planning and cost-saving initiatives
  • Address human resources, employee safety, and risk management concerns
Essential Qualifications:
  • At least two years of nursing experience
  • A minimum of two years in a leadership role
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • Current Registered Nurse License in California
  • Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications
  • Completion of preceptor or charge nurse training
  • Knowledge of quality improvement, clinical care delivery processes, and regulatory standards
  • Strong interpersonal communication abilities
  • Capability to work in a team-oriented environment
Desirable Qualifications:
  • One year of experience in critical care or emergency nursing
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
